PURPOSE: A range hood is provided to smoothly discharge smoke or polluted gas collected in a slide through an inclined duct by improving suction effect with increased air velocity based on the principle of Bernoulli. CONSTITUTION: A range hood(100) comprises a discharge duct(110), a hood body(120), and a box shaped slide(130). The slide comprises a slide panel part(133) and vertical wall parts(134). The slide panel part opens and closes a discharge port while being drawn into or out from the hood body. The vertical wall parts are extended from both longitudinal ends of the slide panel part to slidingly guide the slide on the hood body. The range hood comprises a duct panel part and an inclined duct. The inclined duct has duct wall portions attached on the underside of the panel part.
