<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saw blade suitable for sawing hollow profiles or profiles, especially well, of metals. <P>SOLUTION: The saw blade 1 includes many teeth 10 connected to a base body 2, and each tooth has one cutting blade 6. The teeth are formed on protrusions 3 of the base body, and one insert 4 is fixed on each protrusion and is made of a material harder than the protrusion and the base body. A part of the teeth is arranged in a group repeating along the base body, and the group consists of at least three untoothed chamfered teeth. The group has: a first tooth C1 having two chamfering portions symmetrically extending with respect to a center 9 in the longitudinal direction of the saw blade; a second tooth C2 having two chamfering portions asymmetrically extending with respect to the center in the longitudinal direction; and a third tooth C3 having two chamfering portions asymmetrically extending with respect to the center in the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
