<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction system capable of confirming validity of an operation assistant who assists and substitutively performs user's operation. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to an automatic transaction system having an automatic transaction device for performing transaction by user's operation. The automatic transaction system includes operation assistant authentication means for performing authentication of an operation assistant. The operation assistant authentication means preferably performs biometric authentication. The automatic transaction device preferably includes operation assistant authentication means, and standard data storage means for storing standard data checked at a time of authentication.
