<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which is a method for storing a sample used as an object for scientific analysis, and which manages the sample, the information on sample history, and the analysis information obtained by analyzing the sample integrally to secure reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A method of the present invention is a method for storing a sample in which an electronic recording mechanism is retained in a sample container, and an information group accompanying storage management of the sample and the information group obtained from the sample by analysis in a scientific method are retained integrally with the sample container.
