<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic semiconductor having high charge mobility and ionization potential, and exhibiting high solubility to an organic solvent so that a film can be formed easily by coating, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The organic semiconductor is represented by the following formula. Ar, Ar' is a cyclic compound having a conjugate structure. R, R' is any one of straight chain alkyl radical, branch alkyl radical, straight chain alkoxy group, branch alkoxy group, hydrogen, or halogen.
