<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device for vehicle capable of, at a frontal collision of the vehicle, preventing a tip of a foot from overriding a front end and interfering with a dash panel. <P>SOLUTION: An accelerator pedal 8 is disposed in a vehicle rear part of a dash panel that is erected upward from a floor panel 2 forming a bottom face in a cabin, and is rotatably supported in the vehicle cross direction by the floor panel 2 in the vehicle front part of a driver's seat disposed on the floor panel 2. The accelerator pedal includes: a regulation section 83a for regulating the movement of a foot Xa of the occupant, at the front end 8A thereof; and a retraction mechanism 85 adapted to contract the front end 8A in the vehicle rear part at a frontal collision of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
