<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disaster preventing hood capable of immediately protecting a head part at the emergency. <P>SOLUTION: The disaster preventing hood 1 includes a bag body formed by blowing air into a bag member 10 made of a flexible material. The bag member 10 includes a pair of bag parts 11 and 12 with the same shape. The bag parts 11 and 12 laminates a pair of flexible flat face bodies including each a top head part formed into a half-round face shape, a side head part connecting with the top head part, formed so that the width is narrowed gradually in the direction opposing to the side for forming a half-round, and a jaw part connecting with the side head part, into a same body, and a plurality of through-hole parts 25 penetrating through integrally a pair of the flexible flat face bodies, is provided. On the peripheral edge parts of the flexible flat face bodies and on the peripheral edge parts 21 of the through-hole parts 25, the overlapped parts are fused or stuck together to shield from the open air.
