<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the risk that a conventional relay information table aging fails to ensure a vacant entry when a flow corresponding to all registered entries is periodically consecutively received at intervals shorter than a timer, and a large amount of flooding frames flow consecutively on a network when a large mount of new frame are consecutively received, thus causing compression of a line band, processing delay of a priority frame, or load exerted on an apparatus constituting the network or the entirety of the network. <P>SOLUTION: In order to solve the above problem, it is configured to prevent a large amount of unnecessary frames from flowing on a network by regarding flows having a large amount of traffic and flows high priority as being beyond a deletion target due to aging. Therefore, a switching device including a control section is provided. The control section performs management of band and priority for each entry of a relay information table, and preferentially deletes an entry of a flow having a small band, and an entry of a flow having low priority when performing the aging. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
