<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for processing an image of a medical monitor for minimizing image distortion caused by enlargement/reduction in enlarging/reducing the size in horizontal/vertical directions to output the image input to a medical monitor on a display. <P>SOLUTION: The method for processing an image of a medical monitor includes a step of performing first scaling on an image in transverse and longitudinal directions in accordance with a set mode when the image input to the monitor is of HD (High Definition), a step of determining a position of the image by using a panel size of the monitor and an image size so that the image is displayed in the center of the panel when the image is of the HD or SD (Standard Definition), and a step of loading preset information from an internal memory of the monitor to apply the same to the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
