<p>Producing ice-repellent coating made of pyroelectric film, comprises (a) coating a surface with a coating liquid made of polyvinylidene fluoride, (b) drying the coated surface, (c) phase transforming the polyvinylidene fluoride by heat treating the coated surface at 135-150[deg] C, and (d) applying an electric field on the coated surface, or (i) coating the surface with a coating liquid made of tetraethyl orthosilicate comprising pyroelectric nano- and/or microparticles, (ii) carrying out step (b), (iii) heat treating the coated surface at 50-100[deg] C, and (iv) carrying out step (d). Producing ice-repellent coating made of pyroelectric film, comprises: (a) coating a surface with a coating liquid made of polyvinylidene fluoride, in pure form, as a solution, mixture or as a dispersion, (b) drying the coated surface, (c) carrying out phase transformation of the polyvinylidene fluoride by heat treating the coated surface at 135-150[deg] C, and (d) applying an electric field on the coated surface; or (i) coating the surface with a coating liquid made of tetraethyl orthosilicate comprising pyroelectric nano- and/or microparticles made of strontium barium niobate, (ii) carrying out step (b), (iii) heat treating the coated surface at 50-100[deg] C, and (iv) carrying out step (d). An independent claim is also included for the ice-repellent surface coating comprising polyvinylidene fluoride or pyroelectric nano- and/or microparticles.</p> |
