<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener driving device and a fastener driving method, which can automatically stop fastener driving. <P>SOLUTION: This fastener driving device 1 includes: an impact force imparting device 92 that repeatedly imparts an impact force to a fastener 25; and a load cell 8 that detects the reaction force acting on the impact force imparting device 92.
