PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid inter-cell interference in a radio communication system.
SOLUTION: Inter-cell interference is avoided by dividing radio resources to be used by time and performing time multiplexing among cells. In order to make transmission timing a constant period, a time multiplexing pattern is generated. A base station determines transmission timing used in its own cell on the basis of a measurement of uplink interference power. The base station selects, for example, a radio resource 601 for which measured uplink interference power is small, as an uplink time slot pattern. Further, the base station assigns a downlink time slot pattern so that the response of HARQ will be returned at the transmission timing. If traffic is heavy, an additional time slot pattern may be assigned. In order to determine a traffic volume, for example, a transmission waiting buffer quantity, the number of connected terminals, the number of connections with upper-level devices and the like can be used. As triggers of assignment, there are events such as when an initial setting is performed and when channel variation is detected by, for example, collecting report information of downlink communication quality and periodically monitoring uplink interference information.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
