<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable earlier detection of jamming of a record medium conveyed in faster conveyance speed, maintaining of image quality and reduction in erroneous detection of jamming of the record medium. <P>SOLUTION: A fixation device comprises: a fixation unit 20 having a nip part N that conveys a sheet P while applying a fixation process; paper ejection rollers 41, 41 that convey the sheet P downstream of the nip part N; a guide member 42 that guides a conveyance path of the sheet P between the nip part N and the paper ejection rollers 41, 41; a lever 111 provided in substantially parallel with the guide member 42 across from the sheet P and configured to detect a pressure when the pressure exceeds a predetermined amount; and an energizing part 30 that energizes the sheet P toward the guide member 42. The distance between the nip part N and the paper ejection rollers 41, 41 is shorter than the length of the sheet P in the conveyance direction and the distance between a sheet detection part 111c of the lever 111 and the guide member 42 is larger than the distance between the sheet P energized by the energizing part 30 and the guide member 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
