<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storage device capable of detecting the occurrence of a soft error and correcting the error without increasing a mounting area. <P>SOLUTION: A calculation device 101 (calculation unit) calculates error detection data 503 on the basis of plural pieces of input data 501 through predetermined calculation. A storage device 102 stores the plural pieces of input data 501 and the error detection data 503. A data generation device 104 (determination unit/correction unit) determines whether the plural pieces of input data stored in the storage device 102 are consistent with the error detection data stored in the storage device 102. When there is no consistency, the data generation device determines incorrect data among the plural pieces of input data stored in the storage device 102 and the error detection data stored in the storage device 102, and calculates correct data for the data determined to be incorrect. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
