<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of suppressing displacement of a nip plate. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises: a fixing belt 110; a nip plate 130 in slide contact with an inner peripheral surface of the fixing belt 110; and a backup roller for sandwiching the fixing belt 110 between a stay 160 for supporting the nip plate 130 and the nip plate 130. The stay 160 has a nip plate support portion for supporting a surface opposite to a surface in slide contact with the fixing belt 110 of the nip plate 130, a first hook part 162 and a second hook part 163 which wraps around the side of the backup roller 140 from the nip plate 130 to support a surface opposite to a surface of the side of the backup roller 140 of the nip plate 130 and a protrusion 164 protruding toward the backup roller side. And, the nip plate 130 has an opening 136 fitted in the protrusion 164 and the edge 136A of the opening 136 is engaged with the protrusion 164 to regulate the movement in the direction orthogonal to the protrusion direction in which the protrusion 164 protrudes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
