<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly introduce a face image into a zoom area. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera 10 includes an image sensor 12, and the image sensor 12 repetitively captures an optical image of a scene. A zoom processing by a zoom circuit 16 is performed on a partial scene image belonging to a zoom area (E) among scene images generated by the image sensor 12. A zoom scene image generated by the processing is displayed on a monitor screen (36s) of an LCD monitor 36 by an LCD driver 34. A CPU 20 detects the face image from the generated scene image via a face detection circuit 22 (S7 and S29), and position information showing a position to the zoom area (E) of the detected face image is displayed on a mini screen (MS1) in the monitor screen (36s) via CG 28 and the LCD driver 34 (S45 to S61). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
