<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer in which problems do not occur even when paper rolled out from roll paper is fed in a reverse feed direction. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 1 includes: a print head 12 for printing on paper P1 rolled out from the roll paper P; a platen roller 13 for feeding the paper P1 in a predetermined feed direction by rolling out the paper P1 from the roll paper P and for feeding the paper P1 in the reverse feed direction from the feed direction; a paper path 22 through which the paper P1 fed in the feed direction by means of the platen roller 13 passes; and a paper evacuation space 181 which is disposed on a position further upstream the feed direction than the print head 12 and away from the paper path 22 and into which a portion of the paper P1 fed in the reverse feed direction by means of the platen roller 13 is fed, thereby looping the portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
