<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus and an image forming method, which can form an image having desired glossiness by controlling irradiation with an active light beam. <P>SOLUTION: In a serial-type image formation method, an image forming part (23) that includes a nozzle row (61) divided into a plurality of nozzle groups performs scanning in a main scanning direction while each of the nozzle groups ejects an ink and a recording medium and the image forming part move relatively along a sub-scanning direction, when the ink on the recording medium is irradiated with ultraviolet light for temporarily curing the ink while a temporary curing light source (32), which is provided on a downstream side in the scanning direction of the image forming part and divided into a plurality of irradiation parts corresponding to the plurality of nozzle groups, performs scanning, together with the image forming part, in the scanning direction, an irradiation light quantity is set for each of the irradiation parts, and irradiation with the temporary curing light source is controlled for each of the irradiation parts on the basis of the irradiation light quantity set for each of the irradiation parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
