<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance accuracy of identifying an object included in an image. <P>SOLUTION: An object identification device comprises: objects variation amount detection means for detecting variation amounts between objects which are an input object included in an input image and registered objects included in registered images; partial feature extraction means for extracting at least one or more corresponding partial feature amounts between the input object and the registered objects; partial feature amount composition unit for determining a composition method for combining the partial feature amounts extracted by the partial feature extraction means according to magnitude of each variation amount between the objects to generate composition partial feature amounts by compositing the partial feature amounts by the respective determined composition methods; and input object identification means for identifying which registration object corresponds to the input object by using the composition partial feature amounts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
