<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bump warning system for reducing cost by dispensing with a bump detecting sensor and a vehicle height sensor, and can supporting an oversight of a bump of a driver. <P>SOLUTION: This bump warning system is provided for warning when determining that one's own vehicle passes through the bump existing in a boundary part between a sidewalk and a roadway positioned on both sides of an entrance, which is arranged on the sidewalk for making the one's own vehicle go in and out between the roadway and a site outside of the sidewalk across the sidewalk. The bump warning system determines whether the one's own vehicle 10 passes through the bump 20 without noticing the bump 20 on a passage for making the one's own vehicle 10 travel toward the entrance based on present position data and road data on the one's own vehicle, determines whether a height of the bump 20 is the lowest aboveground height or more of the one's own vehicle 10 by comparing height data of the bump 20 with aboveground height data on the one's own vehicle 10 when determining as passing through the bump 20, and gives a warning when determining that the height of the bump 20 is the lowest aboveground height or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
