The spark plug (15) has a spark plug body (30) and an antenna (54). The antenna (54) is provided on a tip-side surface of a roughly tubular second conductive member (33) within the spark plug body (30) that houses a cylindrical first conductive member (31) and a roughly tubular insulating member (32) within which the first conductive member (31) is provided.
