A method for continuously producing an optical display panel in which a first polarizing film and a linear polarization separation film are laminated in said order on the rear surface of an optical cell, said method involving: a first adhering step for supplying from a first optical film roll the first polarization film obtained by cutting in the width direction the belt-shaped first polarization film having an absorption axis in the lengthwise direction and for adhering, while the optical cell is being transferred, the first polarization film to the rear surface of an optical cell along the supply direction of the first polarization film from two sides of the optical cell which face one another; and a second adhering step for supplying from a second optical film roll the linear polarization separation film obtained by cutting in the width direction the belt-shaped linear polarization separation film having a reflection axis in the width direction and for adhering, while the optical cell is being transferred, the linear polarization separation film to the first polarization film adhered to the rear surface of the optical cell along the supply direction of the linear polarization separation film from the other two sides of the optical cell which face one another.
