<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static charge elimination device which can surely dissolve electro static charge due to electron beam irradiation in a container. <P>SOLUTION: In a static charge elimination device 20, a container 100 after being irradiated with an electron beam held by a gripper 22 is conveyed along an arcuate conveyance path in response to the rotation of a rotation body 21, and the container 100 is irradiated with an ultraviolet ray from an ultraviolet irradiation part 24. Irradiating the container 100 with the ultraviolet ray causes the temperature of a PET film forming the container 100 to be raised and its resistance value to be decreased so that electric charges charged inside the PET film forming the container 100 easily flow to the outside.
