LED DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING SCREEN TEST FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED display device having a screen test function to efficiently identify visually a failure point on an LED unit constituting a screen.

SOLUTION: A screen test circuit section 170 includes: a first multiplier 171a that multiplies a piece of image input data which is input from an image memory 160 by a predetermined transmission factor α; a second multiplier 171b that multiplies a selected test color by a transmission factor (1-α); an adder 172 that adds a piece of data output from the first multiplier 171a and a piece of data output from the second multiplier 171b; and a selector 173a that selects either the image input data or the data output from the adder 172 based on a screen test area selection signal to output the selected data as an image to be displayed on the screen.
