<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder-filling apparatus and method capable of achieving high-density filling in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The powder-filling apparatus has a pressurized hopper, the hopper has a discharge section for discharging powder and also has a gas introduction section located above a powder layer surface formed by powder in at least the hopper. The powder layer is formed in the hopper so as to close the discharge section. When the discharge section is closed, gas is introduced into the hopper from the gas introduction section to pressurize the inside of the hopper, and the discharge section is released after the pressurization. By this arrangement, the powder layer formed so as to close the discharge section is discharged by using the pressure, and thereby the powder is filled in a container to be filled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
