PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable image characteristics to be set independently and separately with respect to resource data and print data.

SOLUTION: A color characteristic setting part 34 is constituted by a setting means for setting a color characteristic of preprint form data stored in a preprint form data storage part 32 and a setting means for setting a color characteristic of print data input by a print data input part 31. Decomposers 41 to 44 independently perform color conversion processing on the basis of color characteristics respectively set to the print data and the preliminary print form data in a case where the color characteristic set to the print data and the color characteristic set to the preprint form data which are set by the color characteristic setting part 34 are different from each other.
