<p>A schedule executing unit allocates, to communication terminals, working downstream radio resources including, in the frequency direction, a frequency band included in a transmission frequency band of known signals received by use of at least some of upstream radio resources used for the known signals. This allocation is performed by allocating, to the communication terminals, the working downstream radio resources, starting with the downstream radio resources associated with the upstream radio resources used for the known signals. A communication unit, when performing downstream communications by use of the working downstream radio resources, controls the transmission directivities of a plurality of antennas on the basis of the known signals received, in the frequency band of the working downstream radio resources, via the upstream radio resources used for the known signals. The schedule executing unit calculates predicted values of the transmission gains to be obtained during the downstream communications with the communication terminals being performed by controlling the transmission directivities of the plurality of antennas on the basis of the known signals received in the frequency band of the working downstream radio resources. The schedule executing unit then determines, on the basis of the predicted values, the communication terminals to which the working downstream radio resources are to be allocated.</p> |
