<p>A plurality of drive units arranged on a transistor array substrate include defective drive units in a part thereof. If, among a plurality of pixel electrodes, those electrodes corresponding to the defective drive units are first pixel electrodes, and those electrodes corresponding to the non-defective drive units are second pixel electrodes, each of the second pixel electrodes are formed such that a part thereof enters into a corresponding contact hole, and the part of each of the second pixel electrodes which enters into the contact hole makes contact with a power-supply pad in the corresponding drive unit, and thus each of the second pixel electrodes is electrically connected with the corresponding drive unit. Each of the first pixel electrodes is maintained so as to not be electrically connected with the corresponding drive unit, and is connected, by means of a connection unit, with either adjacent second pixel electrode. Each of the connection units is formed in a state so as to be in contact with an inter-layer insulation film, in a complete region in which each of the connection units, going from the first pixel electrodes to the adjacent second pixel electrodes, are formed.</p> |
