<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of automatically setting actuation delay time of a mechanical brake by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The controller controls a motor and a mechanical brake for limiting the operation of the motor, and comprises: a motor drive part for driving the motor; a brake drive part for actuating the mechanical brake; a detection part for detecting a current when the motor is driven by the motor drive part; an extraction part for extracting a current for torque from the detected current; a setting part for estimating and setting the actuation delay time after the actuation of the mechanical brake is requested to the brake drive part until the mechanical brake is actually actuated according to the temporal change of the extracted current for the torque; and a control part for controlling the actuation of the mechanical brake by the brake drive part according to the set actuation delay time and controlling the operation speed of the motor by the motor drive part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
