<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a metal characteristics measuring device capable of measuring the reactivation ratio of a casting article of an austenitic stainless steel in a relatively high safe manner. <P>SOLUTION: The metallic characteristics measuring device includes a sensor, in which protection tube filled with a saturated solution thereinside and a main unit are inserted in the saturated solution within the protection tube, and a reference electrode having a take-out portion attached being shielded to an open-end portion of the protection tube and a counter electrode wound on an outer periphery of the protection tube are integrated with each other; a cell container, which is formed in a cylindrical shape so as to enclose the counter electrode portion of the sensor, one open portion of which is air-tightly fixed to the surface of an item to be measured, and the inside of which is filled with an electrolyte solution soaking the counter electrode portion of the sensor; and a potentiostat having a positive output terminal and two negative output terminals, in which a first negative output terminal is connected to the counter electrode, a second negative output terminal is connected to the reference electrode and the positive output terminal is connected to the item to be measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
