<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a segment coil on a stator core in which an insulation structure can have optimal length for each pair of ends without causing problems such as voids existing in an insulation layer or a bridge formed between the insulation layers of the adjacent pairs of ends even when a plurality of the pairs of ends consisting of ends of segment coils have displacement in a height direction. <P>SOLUTION: A method for forming a segment coil on a stator core includes the steps of: inserting a plurality of segment coils 2 into a slot 1b of a stator core 1 and forming a pair of ends 3 by bring an end of the segment coil 2 into contact with another end of the segment coil 2 at a coil end; and softening thermofusible resin 4b in resin cap 4a which forms connection body 4 corresponding to one of the pairs of ends 3, pushing the connection body 4 toward the pair of ends 3 using push-in means 5 to insert the connection body 4 into the thermofusible resin 4b, and hardening the thermofusible resin, therefore, to form the segment coil 10 in which each of the pairs of ends 3 is coated with an insulation structure consisting of the connection body 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
