<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow good surface contacting by assuring a sufficient contact area between a circuit board and a terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A first connector C1 (card edge type connector) includes a first terminal 30A, and a first housing H1 that contains a terminal housing chamber 45 in which the first terminal 30A is housed. The first terminal 30A includes a substrate contact part 31 which contains a body part 35 where a contact protruding part 35a that has a flat contact surface is formed, and an elastic pressurizing member 36 which is elastically deformable in the thickness direction of the circuit board 10 relative to the body part 35. Related to the first terminal 30A, the body part 35 is displaced to an inner bottom surface side of the terminal housing chamber 45 with deformation of the elastic pressurizing member 36 being accompanied when the circuit board 10 is inserted in the first housing H1, and the first terminal 30A is housed in the terminal housing chamber 45 so that a resilient force generated by deformation of the elastic pressurizing member 36 causes the contact protruding part 35a of the body part 35 to be press-contacted to a connection conductor 14A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
