<p>A video signal processing device capable of inputting video transmitted by a first method or by a second method, using as the first method a method that divides an original image into an n-number of regions (n being an integer of at least 2) and transmits same using 1st to nth paths and using as the second method a method that divides the original image into a n-number of images (n being an integer of at least 2) having a lower definition than the original image and transmits same using the 1st to nth paths. The video signal processing device comprises: a discrimination circuit that discriminates between the first and second methods, on the basis of the correlation between a plurality of pixel data parallel-input from the 1st to nth paths; and a mapping circuit that puts in order the plurality of pixel data, in accordance with the discrimination results from the discrimination circuit. As a result of said configuration, a video signal processing device capable of being compatible with each of two methods whereby the original image is divided into and transmitted by an n-number of paths.</p> |
