The holder (10) has a fastening unit (12) which is provided for mounting scaffolding element and/or fall protection component on corner region of building. The supporting units (14,16) are provided with supporting surfaces (22,24) and are connected with each other through bridge frame (18). A dimensional displacement device (20) is provided to displace the supporting units towards and away from each other, so as to adjust the distance between the mutually facing support surfaces.
