PURPOSE: A word line divider circuit and a memory device are provided to stably operate the word line divider circuit by using a transistor with a small leak current. CONSTITUTION: A word line divider circuit includes a word line(WL1), a first sub word line(SWL11), a second sub word line(SWL12), a first transistor(101), and a second transistor. One of a source and a drain of a first transistor and one of a source and a drain of a second transistor are electrically connected to the word line. The other of the source and drain of the first transistor is electrically connected to a first sub word line. The other of the source and drain of the second transistor is electrically connected to a second sub word line.
