<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring assembly with which the end part of a coil spring can be calked from the outer circumference side by push-bending all together a plurality of calking pawls extending from a spring support of a substrate with one calking operation of a calking jig. <P>SOLUTION: The spring retaining part includes a plurality of calking pawls 13 extending from the outer edge and inner edge of the substrate. The root 13a of the calking pawl 13 is disposed at a substrate side out of the route where a pressing face 1a of the calking jig 1 travels. The tip part 13b of the calking pawl 13 is disposed in outside of the substrate 10, 11 from the root 13a and further on the route where the calking jig 1 travels. Then, when the tip end part 13b of the calking pawl 13 is pressed by the calking jig 1 to an axial direction of the substrate 10, 11, a torque advancing to the inside of the substrate 10, 11 is generated on the calking pawl 13; the tip end part 13b of the calking pawl 13 is bent toward the substrate side, and the end part of the coil spring 20 disposed at the spring retaining part is calked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
