The device for cohesive connection of two structural components (1, 2) of a vehicle, is claimed. The components to be connected are partially flat and fixed to each other in a region between a first fixing element (4) and a second fixing element (5). A positioning of the first fixing element and the second fixing element is formed corresponding to each other such that the first and second fixing elements are arranged in the device opposite to each other and formed as electrodes with different polarity. The first fixing element is placed on an upper side of a first component. The device for cohesive connection of two structural components (1, 2) of a vehicle, is claimed. The components to be connected are partially flat and fixed to each other in a region between a first fixing element (4) and a second fixing element (5). A positioning of the first fixing element and the second fixing element is formed corresponding to each other such that the first and second fixing elements are arranged in the device opposite to each other and formed as electrodes with different polarity. The first fixing element is placed on an upper side of a first component, and the second fixing element is placed on a lower side (9) of a second component. A first retaining force of the first fixing element acts as a second retaining force of the second fixing element in the same area on the components to be connected, where the retaining forces act contrary to each other. An independent claim is included for a method for cohesive connection of two structural components of a vehicle using a device.
