The device (18) has a clip-like or cage-like base body (19) including a set of detents (20) inserted into a recess (21) and locked with the recess that is formed on an outer contour of a component i.e. plug (10). Another set of detents (22) is insertable into an external thread of another component i.e. piston rod (11), and latched with the latter component. The base body includes first and second side walls (23, 24) interconnected over a third side wall (25). An anti-twist plate is formed by a slot (27) in a projection (26) of the third side wall.
