PURPOSE: A wireless image monitoring system and a method thereof are provided to increase the accuracy of event detection by determining generation of an image through a plurality of algorithms. CONSTITUTION: If an event is detected, a wireless image monitoring system obtains an image with the driving of an image sensor(S320). The system detects the event by using a background removing algorithm(S330). The system detects the event by using a body recognition algorithm(S340). The system performs storage and transmission of an image.
