<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information collecting system capable of instantaneously understanding secondary and tertiary semantic contents included in event information generating on site. <P>SOLUTION: The information collecting system searches for respective supplementary information items from a database. The information collecting system adds the respective supplementary information items searched for to sequentially reconfigure event information. The information collecting system further searches for other types of supplementary information items using respective types of combinations out of on-site data included in the event information and newly added respective supplementary information items, as a search key.
