<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To demonstrate enough the running performance when the travel mode in which the power output is prioritized is demanded. <P>SOLUTION: When the execution condition of the damping control is satisfied (S110-S130), the damping torque Tv is set based on the value obtained by multiplying the difference of a motor rotational angular velocity ωm2, and a driving wheel rotational angular velocity ωb by a control gain kv; the total of the set damping torque Tv and the torque command Tm2* is set as execution torque T2*; and the damping control to drive the motor MG2 so that this execution torque T2 * is output from motor MG2 is executed (S140-S170).
