<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating mechanism capable of smoothly reciprocating a mobile body (cleaning member) without increasing cost, and to provide a cleaning mechanism using the reciprocating mechanism, an exposure device including the cleaning mechanism, and an image forming apparatus including the exposure device. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile body reciprocating mechanism includes a mobile body 33 the state of which changes between: a first state where the mobile body 33 moves in a first movement direction D1 according to the rotation of a rotation shaft 31 in a first rotation direction R1; a second state where an engagement state, in which the mobile body 33 is engaged with a spiral crest part 313 of the rotation shaft 31 is released after moving in the first movement direction D1; and a third state where the mobile body 33 is re-engaged with the spiral crest part 313 according to the rotation of the rotation shaft 31 in a second rotation direction R2 and moves in a second movement direction D2. The mobile body reciprocating mechanism also includes re-engagement means 34 that makes the mobile body 33 contact a terminal part 314 of the spiral crest part 313 by its weight while the mobile body 33 is in the second state, and re-engages the mobile body 33 with the spiral crest part 313 according to the rotation of the rotation shaft 31 in the second direction R2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
