<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an interior fitting for a vehicle, wherein a mold structure for molding the interior fitting having an undercut shape may be simplified. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the interior fitting for the vehicle including a foam 2 having a recess 4a as an undercut formed in a direction perpendicular to a mold opening direction. A core 33 of a soft material is inserted into a cavity C of the mold 30 into which a foaming liquid can be injected, and the recess 4a of the interior fitting is thereby molded by a protrusion 33b formed at the core 33. Since the core 33 is made of the soft material, the protrusion 33b of the core 33 is detached from the recess 4a by pulling the core 33 so that the core 33 is separated from a pad material 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
