PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibration element with improved vibration characteristics.

SOLUTION: The piezoelectric vibration element comprises: a piezoelectric substrate 21 having a first end 21a and a second end 21b; an excitation electrode 23a provided on a lower surface of the piezoelectric substrate 21; a terminal electrode 24a provided at the first end 21a of the piezoelectric substrate 21 and electrically connected to the excitation electrode 23a; and a leg 22 provided at the second end 21b of the piezoelectric substrate 21 and extending below the excitation electrode 23a.
