<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage, damage, and the like of a connection part due to mechanical loads such as long term vibration and impact and thereby ensuring stable connection reliability in the connection part when a conductor exposure part of a flat cable is connected with an electrode part, formed on a printed wiring board so as to correspond to the conductor exposure part, by using a solder material. <P>SOLUTION: A flat cable 1 includes: multiple conductors 3 disposed parallel to each other; an insulation film 4 covering the multiple conductors 3; a first reinforcement member 10 provided on a surface of an end part of the insulation film 4; and a second reinforcement member 20 provided at a position that faces the first reinforcement member 10 across the conductors 3 and the insulation film 4. The first reinforcement member 10 has a reinforcement metal plate 11 having an end part folded in the second reinforcement member 20 direction; a cover member 12 covering a part of a periphery of the reinforcement metal plate 11; and a bond 13 bonding the reinforcement metal plate 11, the cover member 12, and the insulation film 4.
