PURPOSE: A refuse derived fuel feeding apparatus for a thermal power plant is provided to prevent the damage of a transferring screw unit by preventing the load of refuse derived fuel in a storage bunker from being directly transferred to a transferring screw unit. CONSTITUTION: A refuse derived fuel feeding apparatus for a thermal power plant comprises a transferring screw unit(400) and a screw casing(500). Refuse derived fuel in a storage bunker is injected into the rotating screw casing through inlet holes(530) so that only the proper size of the refuse derived fuel can be discharged. The RPM and rotational direction of the screw casing and the transferring screw unit are individually controlled so that the amount of discharged fuel can be easily set in accordance with fuel efficiency and a power plant. Even if the rotational direction of the screw casing is changed, the refuse derived fuel is easily pushed into the inlet holes by first and second rake members(560,570). The screw casing including the transferring screw unit evenly discharges the stored refuse derived fuel while longitudinally moving along a pair of traveling rails(100L,100R).
