EARLY WARNING METHOD OF LEADING-PHASE DEPTH OF STEAM/HYDRAULIC TURBINE GENERATOR

An early warning method of leading-phase depth of a steam/hydraulic turbine generator comprises: detecting active power and terminal voltage of a generator, calculating a current static stable reactive boundary value, then comparing the current leading-phase reactive power of the generator with the static stable reactive boundary value, and when the criteria are met, giving an alarm in a delay manner. The method prevents shutdown due to loss of excitation protection caused by excessively large leading-phase depth.
