<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knockout structure of a metal wiring box which allows easy removal of a closing plate from a through-hole. <P>SOLUTION: A part, in a circumferential direction, of a closing plate 14 formed on a bottom wall 11 of the metal wiring box is connected to an inner peripheral surface of a through-hole 13 through a connection part 15. The closing plate 14 is connected so as to be tilted with the connection part 15 as a base point by pressurization to the closing plate 14 from the side of an outer surface 11a of the bottom wall 11 to the side of an inner surface 11b. Then, the knockout structure is configured such that the connection part 15 is broken by tilting the closing plate 14 only in one direction (direction from the side of the outer surface 11a of the bottom wall 11 to the side of the inner surface 11b) to the bottom wall 11.
