<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary cooling device capable of improving working efficiency when installed on a field and also eliminating the adjustment of water supply accompanied by a hydraulic pressure variation after installation. <P>SOLUTION: Since a water supply device 120a for the auxiliary cooling device 100 supplies water to mat units 110a, 110b through constant flow rate valves 140a, 140b, it is not necessary to adjust flow rates of the constant flow rate valves 140a, 140b according to hydraulic pressure when the auxiliary cooling device 100 is installed on the field. Also, a set water volume is supplied to the mat units 110a, 110b regardless of the hydraulic pressure variation generated in an installation site after the installation. Therefore, the adjustment of the water supply after the installation is no more required, the fluctuation of the water supply to a cooling mat caused by a feed-water pressure variation in the installation site is eliminated, and cooling performance by the cooling mat is stabilized.
