<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve parking support by changing a display size of a target auxiliary line of an own vehicle according to a parking space. <P>SOLUTION: By extracting parking space information from widths and lengths of white lines of the parking space where a vehicle parked, the size of the target auxiliary line is changed to display matching the parking space. When the extracted parking space is smaller than a predetermined size or the own-vehicle size, attention is called by notifying a driver of the fact by display or voice. This enables the display of a target line suitable to a parking space different from the size of the own vehicle, and by notifying the fact by at least one of visual and audio methods, parking support can be improved which is safe to the driver and suppresses stress. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
